The Paraguayan authorities have decided to use devices seized from illegal miners to mine cryptocurrency.

The country’s warehouses now hold approximately 30,000 ASICs confiscated during raids against illegal farms.

As part of an agreement with the American company Morphware, it is planned to launch 1,500 devices in the first stage, using excess energy from the Itaipu hydroelectric power station.
